Obituary

Linda Marie Robbins, 59, of Huntington, passed away December 27, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1948 in Barboursville, WV, a daughter of the late Dencil and Gertrude Elenore Cook Carter . Linda retired from Goodwill Industries as a stocker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband Jerry Lee Robbins, Sr. and four brothers , Cletus Carter, Glen Carter, John Carter and Larry Carter. Survivors include two sons; Jerry Lee Robbins, Jr. and Richard Dencil Robins and his wife Erica Lynn, all of Huntington; five granddaughters , Lisa Fields, Jennifer Robbins, Melinda Robbins, Christina Robbins, and Victoria Adkins, four brothers; Jack Carter (her twin) of Venton, VA and Henry Carter , of Red Jacket. Also surviving is Donna and David Hobbs and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 at Baylous cemetery, Salt Rock, WV. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family.
