Wanda Lee Blankenship

Wanda Lee Blankenship, 73, of Huntington, passed away on June 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Born on May 4, 1945 in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Lee and Ola Opal Dean Bellomy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jackie Lee Damron, and her second husband, Roger Dale Blankenship. Wanda was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Alanda Damron and Barbara Adkins; brother, Randy Ashworth; grandchildren, Chrissy Dawn Rogers and Brandon McCarley; great-grandchildren, Maddy Rose, Abby Rose, Bella Rogers and Grant Rogers; niece and nephews, Adrienne Worden, Mark Damron and Steve Damron; son-in-law, Robert Adkins; grandson-in-law, Tommy Rogers; special friends, Pat Saunders, Kim Cumm, Phyllis Porter, Deborah Smith, Patty Raines, Mary Shannon Lester and her beloved cat, Snowball. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Chuck Lawrence, officiating. The family will welcome friends after 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
