Obituary
Vivian M. McGinnis, 100 of
Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday April 9, 2015. Funeral services will
be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Gary Shepard
officiating. Entombment will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Abbey of
Devotion. She was born June 10, 1914 in Marcelona, MI the daughter of the
late John and Cora Watkins Dalton. On her 100th birthday Vivian received 150
birthday cards from family and friends. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband, James F. “Hank” McGinnis, a sister Louise
Singleton and a great nephew, Luke Simon. She was retired from INCO Alloys
International. Vivian was a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, a
lifetime member and former president of the GFWC Pea Ridge Woman’s Club,
former member of the Board at the Ronald McDonald House and Jeffrey George
Comfort Hospitality House. She was also a member of the Foxy Ladies Bridge
Club. She is survived by two nieces, several great nieces and nephews,
several great-great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Those who wish
