Leland Harold Thompson

Leland Harold Thompson, 70, of St. Albans, WV, passed away June 5, 2012, at home. He was born July 24, 1941, in Cabell County, a son of the late Walter Harold Thompson and Martha Rayburn Thompson. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Shelton; two daughters and son-in-law, Samantha Thompson and Tabatha and Mark Bledsoe; one son, Harold Thompson; three step daughters, Annette Tyler, Virginia Ward and Jenny Shelton; one step son, Greg Shelton; one sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Kenny Thompson; one brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Betty Thompson; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Gordon Simpson. Burial will be in Teays Valley Memorial Gardens, Winfield.
