Robert Lee Adkins

Robert Lee "Robbie" Adkins, 71, of Branchland, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor David Cardwell and Rev. Johnnie Gue, Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. He was born April 17, 1940 in Branchland, a son of the late Perry Green and Alta Jeffers Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Freda Gayle Rutherford Adkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Dewayne and Sherry Adkins and Jimmy Lee and Fredia Adkins; step-daughters, Kathy Lyles, Rhonda Ashworth, Tina Webb, and Debby Merritt; step-sons, Steve Henderson, Randy Ashworth, and Billy Merritt; two sisters, Elfa Adkins and Deloris Gue; two brothers, Ronald and Darrell Adkins; seven grandchildren, eighteen step-grandchildren, one great grandchild and five step great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
