Bernice Lee Peyton
(October 10, 1930 - January 23, 2018)

BERNICE LEE PEYTON, 87, of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1930, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clinton Clyde Wallace and Lina Idella Meehling Wallace. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Farnsworth Peyton; two sisters, Helen Felix and Geraldine Simpson; two brothers, Clinton Wallace and Russell Tackett. She was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Fay Peyton and Deloris Gay Peyton; one sister, Nancy Smith (Darrell); one brother, Ronnie Wallace (Linda); and many cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Greg Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may visit one hour prior on Friday at the funeral home.
