Charles Harvey Runyon

Charles Harvey Runyon, 81, of Ironton, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Harbor Healthcare of Ironton. Funeral services will be conducted by Bobby Phelps at 2pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Burial will follow in Dock's Creek Cemetery. Charles was born on November 9, 1940 in Huntington, WV to the late Harvey and Mary Elizabeth Bowen Runyon. Charles was an avid hunter and fisher. He loved to go to the flea market with his brother-in-law. He loved to walk and would walk everywhere he went. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie (Nancy) Bowen; and paternal grandparents, Henry (Linnie) Runyon; and one sister, Linnie Christina Runyon Fields. He is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Jane Runyon, Diana (Bobby) Phelps, and Pamela Runyon; and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon until service time on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
