Eleanor Marie Morris
(December 24, 1924 - October 14, 2020)

Eleanor Marie Morris of Huntington, WV, went to be with her Lord on October 14, 2020.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Friday November 6, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Greenup County, KY., where she will be buried beside her husband.  Eleanor was born December 24, 1924 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Haack.  Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, of 66 years, Paul Eugene Morris and her sister, Jane Luffler.  Surviving are her sister Virginia Cooke of Milwaukee, WI and her brother, Don Haack of Stockton, CA.  Eleanor was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning and decorating.  She loved crossword puzzles and did them in ink every day.  She was passionate about supporting her boys and grandchildren in their sporting activities.  She enjoyed golf and bowling which she competed in.  She was a member of First Independent Missionary Baptist and most of all she loved her Lord and served Him daily with her whole heart and the life she lived.  Eleanor was blessed with 6 sons, Gary Tim, Randy (Elisa), Daniel, Chris (Shannon), Bruce (Angie) with Daniel and Gary preceding her in death.  Elly was grandmother to David, Julie, Brett, Danielle (Bailey), Zachariah, Caleb, Jeremiah, Lilly, Lylah, Noah, Jonah, Kristina (Paul), Bethany (Zack), Mackenzie (Zack), Madison (Danny) and James.  Great grandmother to Breille, Patrick, Dylan, Ellie, Ethan, Evan and soon to be Jackson.  She leaves behind special friends, Robin and Greg Creasy, David and Marsha Blain and Julie and Tom Wood.  She had many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.  The family would like to thank the PAC-ICU of St. Mary’s for the love and support for Eleanor and family during this time.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
