Helen Jean Johnson
(March 17, 1929 - November 4, 2020)
 

Helen Jean Adams Johnson, 91, of Ceredo, WV went to be with her Lord on November 4th, 2020. She was the daughter of the late William and Opal Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel Jacob Johnson; as well as her brothers, Raymond and William Adams and sisters, Wanda Riffe and Donna Farrar. She leaves behind three children and their spouses, Larry (Sharon) Johnson, Barbara (Greg) Bailey, and Donna (Timothy) Lawrence. She was a wonderful grandmother to Jennifer (Kristoffer) Carr, Jacob (Chasity) Johnson, Carmin Johnson, and Kevin Lawrence. She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Cash and Carrington Johnson, whom she loved with all her heart. She also leaves behind a very special niece, Sheri Riffe Davis, along with many other nieces, nephews, numerous friends, neighbors and an outstanding caregiver Cassandra Hill. Helen was a devoted Christian, spending most of her adult life raising her family while working as the secretary at The First Baptist Church in Ceredo, WV. In her later years, she enjoyed socializing with her many friends at The Westmoreland Senior Center. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, November  9th. Reger Funeral Home & Crematory Ceredo-Kenova Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
