Betty L. Tipton
(January 13, 1937 - January 9, 2020)

Betty Tipton, 82, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Betty was born in  Ironton, Ohio on January 13, 1937 to the late Herbert and Dorothy Anderson Collins. Betty was a retired production line employee of General Motors and a member of Westmoreland United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Jack Collins; and a sister, Genevieve Harmon. She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years Earl W. Tipton, Jr.; one son, Gregory G. Tipton; one daughter, Rena Lynn Branco; five grandchildren, Jason W. Branco ( Cianis), Jonathan Branco, Daniel William Emery, Gregory Dillon Tipton, and Derek Nathaniel Tipton; three great grandchildren, Colin Branco, Cerina Branco, and Indiana Branco; three sisters, Margaret Nance, Jean McMahon, and Leona Houck; and several nieces and nephews. There will be services scheduled at a later date. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
