Obituary for Steve Duane Noel
Steve Duane Noel, 63, of
Sadieville, KY, passed away on August 9, 2018 at the UK Bluegrass
Hospice, Lexington, KY. A graveside service will be conducted at Enon
Cemetery on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Burial will follow. Steve was
born on September 24, 1954 in Huntington, WV to the late Duane and
Olive Ann Weaver Noel. Steve was a hardworking man who loved his
family, loved to celebrate, and loved to fish. He lived in many places
from Barboursville to California to Michigan to South Carolina. He had
several careers throughout his life, most notably a welder, and most
recently a Quality Inspector at the Service Machine Company for many
years and then Monessen Hearth Company for 18 and half years before
retiring in 2016. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in
death by his brother, Philip Noel. He is survived by his wife,
Marshella; two daughters, Christi (Brandon) John and Bobbi (Robert)
Bartlett; one son, Edward Noel; four grandchildren, Lance Corporal
Veath, Jon USMC, Larissa Noel, Marinda Bartlett, and Russell Bartlett;
and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from
11 am until 1 pm at the Reger Funeral Home. A procession will leave
for the cemetery at 1 pm.
