Maxine Bias, 94 of Huntington, WV went to be with her lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was born September 19, 1921 in Akron, Ohio to Roscoe & Mazie Adkins. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Berkie W. Bias, one brother, Major Clodean Adkins, 2 sisters, Iva Maynard and Bernice Suiter. She was survived by one daughter, Carolyn Sue Diamond, and 2 sons, Larry Allen Bias and Ronald Lee Bias, all of Huntington. 5 Grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Casey, Duane Scott Blevins, Kenneth Ray Blevins, Tamra Fay Aman, and Lee Allen Bias. 7 Great-Grandchildren, and several Great-Great-Grandchildren. Maxine was a homemaker along with being a salesperson at W.T. Grant and Nassers of Huntington. She was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church and a life member of “Women of the Moose.”  Special thanks to her loving home care givers Christen Ferguson, Maxine Ratcliff, Mardella Poff, and Sharon Bates.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21st at Reger Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 22 at 1 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
