Obituary
Richard Cassell,
79 of Huntington, WV passed away July 8th at Wurtland, KY Nursing and
Rehabilitation after a long battle with Alzheimers. He leaves to mourn his
passing, Billie his wife of 50 years, special son, Ryan (Cindy) Cassell of
Prichard, WV, his two precious granddaughters, Lynndsey and McKenzie
Cassell. In addition his brother and best friend Danny Cassell , two
sisters, Fay and Mary of Lakeland, FL, a special brother-in-law Rodney
(Patty) Lewis of Kenova an , his fluffy companion Pretty Girl. Richard
graduated from Vinson High School, served with the US Navy and retired from
Owens Illinois. After retirement, he worked 15 years at Walmart on Rt. 60.
He also attended Grace Gospel Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM,
Friday , July 10, 2015 at Reger Funeral Home. Graveside services, will be
conducted 11:00 AM Saturday July 11 at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, with
Pastor Scott Byard officiating. The procession will leave the funeral home
Saturday at 10:30 AM for the cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make
donations to Community Hospice, Ashland, Ky. A special thank you to Dr.
Clapp and VA Medical Center and Wurtland Nursing and Rehab. For the
wonderful care.
