Obituary
Marcella Pinson Stark,
92, of Huntington, WV ,passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the
Woodlands Retirement Community. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday,
March 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the First Congregation Church of Ceredo by
Pastor Marty Gute. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo, WV.
Marcella was born on September 1, 1921 in Scioto County, Ohio the daughter
of the late Frank and Mary Cox Pinson. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband Floyd Hoard Stark, one son Floyd Stark Jr.,
four sisters: Earlina Daniels, Helen Morris, Hannah Lee Hager White and
Janis Flanagan and one brother: Frank Pinson Marcella was a home maker, an
avid gardener and floral designer. She was a member of the First
Congregation Church of Ceredo, The Pilgrim’s Guild and The Huntington Garden
Club where she was the past president 1977-79, vice president, historian and
floral designer. She is survived by her children and spouses: Larry (Donna);
Stephen (Sharon); and Richard Stark; grandchildren : Julie (Josh) Caldwell,
Alyssa Stark (Jeromy Dishman), Rachel Stark, Justin (Brittany) Stark and
Hunter Stark. Great grandchildren: Payton, Elle and Coleson Caldwell,
Makenzie Dishman, Maya Beatty and Ryland Stark; one sister Betty Coburn and
a special neighbor Mimi Morrill.
