Obituary
Rebecca Ann Dingess,
66, of Barboursville, WV, went to be with the Lord on July 7th, 2014 at the
Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born February 24th,
1948 in Mitchell County, NC, a daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Elizabeth
Tipton. Becky worked as a dedicated health care provider always doing her
best for others. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was always willing to help her family and loved them so. Survivors
include her husband Roger Lee Dingess of Barboursville; one daughter and son
in law Kimberly Ann and William Bass of Cumming, Georgia; four wonderful
grandchildren Madison, Will, Olivia and Katherine Bass; four brothers Harold
Tipton (Dixie) of Mars Hill, NC, James Tipton of Mars Hill, NC, Charles
Tipton of Sanford, NC, Junior Tipton of Dallas, NC; four sisters Doris
Honeycut of Weaverville, NC, Betty Lanning of Ashville, NC, Robbie Howard of
Greenville, SC, Juanita Caldwell (Roger) of Kenova, WV; a sister in law
Joann Sizemore of Huntington and many special loving nieces and nephews. The
family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice for the special
care they provided and requests memorial contributions be made to the
Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, P.O. Box 464, Huntington,
WV 25709. At the family's request there will be no service or visitation. A
private family burial will be conducted at the White Chapel Memorial
Gardens, Barboursville. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
