Obituary
Julia Pierce Stevens Hitchcock,
57, of Huntington, WV passed away on January 1, 2014 at her home. Funeral
services will be conducted on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the
Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Mike Saunders. Burial will follow at Crescent
Hill Cemetery, Ceredo WV. Julia was born on July 15, 1956 in Huntington, WV
the daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen Paterson Pierce. In addition to
her parents she was preceded in death by her sister and brother: Mary Ellen
Pierce and Larry “Bug” Pierce. She is survived by her husband Leroy
Hitchcock, two special children daughter and son Faith and Ronnie Stevens.
Two step kids; Ricky and Jessica Hitchcock. Three special grandkids: Kierra
and Avonte’ Crawford and Tanner Stevens. Three brothers and sisters in law:
Paul and Sue, Bill and Gloria and James (Bird) Pierce. A daughter in law:
Jackie Stevens and three special friends Ronnie, Carla and Phillip Stevens.
Friends may call from 5-7 pm Friday January 3, 2014 at the Reger Funeral
Home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations may be made to
the funeral home with the funeral.
