Obituary
Mary Evelyn Welch,
77, of Huntington, passed away Thursday May 9, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin
Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at
noon on Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Fred McCarty. Burial will
follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. She was born February
26, 1936 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Dale and Goldie Adkins
Perry. She was a home caregiver for Veterans for 17 years. In addition to
her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers Richard and
Ronald Perry and two sisters Kathleen Sansom and Glida McClanahan. Survivors
inlcude her husband of 26 years Donald R. Welch; daughter Vicki Williams of
Huntington; five grandchildren Shai (Kyle Ray), Dustin, Aireal, Erich
(Samantha) and Mia; great grandchildren Jayla, Shannon, Charity and Delaney;
brothers Billy J. Perry, Mitchell Perry and Greyson Perry; sisters Bernice
Johnson, Anna Steffy, Dottie Sue Elder, Pearl McClendon, Linda Sturdevant
and Sandra Padgett; step children of grandchildren Brenda, Rhonda, Janet,
Steven (Laura), Michelle, Brandon, Mark, Jacob and Patricia. Friends may
call from 11 am until service time Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
