Obituary
Harry Eugene Norris,
78 of Huntington, WV was reunited with his Heavenly family on Saturday, July
27, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bob Hale. Entombment will
follow in the White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, WV. Harry was born
August 5, 1934 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Harry Albert and Ida Mae
Howard Norris. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the city of
Huntington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one
granddaughter, Christy Lee Fischer, one brother, Don Norris, and five
sisters, Marie Dolen, Geraldine Smith, Frances Evans, Madeline Christian and
Betty Scarberry. He is survived by his wife Ila Kay Gibbs Norris, three
daughters: Sandra Kay (Larry) Fischer, Brenda (Goble) Cooper, Kathy Norris;
three sons: Steven (Jane) Norris, Tim (Jodie) Norris and Harry (Kristin)
Norris. Also surviving, are thirteen grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be
from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 at the Reger
Funeral Home.
