Norma Jean Hensley, 80, of
Huntington, widow of James Hensley, passed away Sunday April 14, 2013 at
Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am
Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Tim Jayne, Brother Steven
Graves, her grandson, and Rev. Berman Willis. Burial will follow in Hensley
Cemetery, Indian Branch Rd., Wayne County, WV. She was born January 30, 1933
in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Charlie and Carrie Wilson
Christian. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Jean was a homemaker and
a member of the Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her
husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a brother Buster
Christian and a sister Dorothy M. Davis. Survivors include three sons and
daughters in law Larry Hensley and Debbie Vargo of Medina, Ohio, Mike and
Pam Hensley of Proctorville, Ohio and Richard and Sharon Hensley of Falling
Waters, WV; a daughter and son in law Jeana and Greg Graves of Kenova, WV;
grandchildren Brad Hensley and his wife Whitney, Matt Hensley and his fiancé
Christina Wagner, Steven Graves and his wife Abby, Jamie Graves and Chris
Graves; three great grandchildren Max, Cooper and Leah; sister Barbara
Christian of Kenova; several nieces and nephews; loving and faithful friend
Stella Smith and many other caring family and friends. Friends may call from
6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
