Sylvia Jean Smalley
(April 16, 1944 - March 2, 2010)

Sylvia Jean Smalley, 65, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, W. Va. by Rev. J. Andrew Magnusson, burial will follow. She was born April 16, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Calista Faye Prince Harris. She was a receptionist at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Richard Smalley; a son, Rodney Myron Chatterton; a daughter, Roberta Faye Pannett; grandchildren, Calium Tanner Chatterton, Mariah Jobe; great grandchildren Jessina Gillispie, Neveah Gillispie, Elijah Gillispie, Devon Chatterton and Nolan Sowder; brothers, Bill Harris and Bobby Harris. There will be no visitation. Reger Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
