Wilma Lynch
(November 8, 1927 - October 25, 2019)

Wilma Kate Lynch, 91, of Huntington, died October 25, 2019 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Wilma was born November 8, 1927 in Clendenin, WV. She was the daughter of the late Oran Otis Hively and Freda Pearl Elmore Hively.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William O. Lynch.  After high school, she moved to Charleston, WV and found her passion for dance where she became an Arthur Murray Ballroom instructor. She met William Orville Lynch and they were married October 15, 1955. They moved to Miami, Florida where she worked for Pan American Airlines as a secretary.  After Mr. Lynch finished his law degree, they moved to New Orleans where they adopted Geneva and Diana.  They moved back to West Virginia where they made a life and she later resumed her passion for ballroom dancing. Wilma loved life and had lots of exciting experiences. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, WV.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Alzheimers Association.
