Barbara Turner

Barbara  June Williams Turner, age 68, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Hindman, KY, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.  She was born at Hindman, KY on February 11, 1951 to Curt Williams and Matilda Hale Williams. June was a 1968 graduate of Hindman High School after which she attended Southern Ohio University for 2 years before returning to Hindman to be editor of Knott County News. Survived by: Husband - Art "Johnny" Turner Son - Jarrod Rolf Turner Grandson - Braden Kyle Turner Brother - Ed Williams Sister - Peggy Cox Preceded in death by Son - Julian Bain Turner  Funeral services for Barbara June Williams Turner will be held at the Klingel-Carpenter Funeral Home, Huntington, WV, 11:00AM,  Thursday, August 1, 2019,  with Chris Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Tuesday evening from 6PM to 10PM and at the Klingel-Carpenter Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6PM to 8PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society.
