Patricia Ann Rushka
(July 17, 1923 - March 1 2017)

PATRICIA ANN RUSHKA, 93, of The Woodlands Retirement Community, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born July 17, 1923, to the late Eugene and Gertrude Brennan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Rushka, grandsons, Brett Edwards and Craig Edwards. She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Stewart) Edwards, son, Bill (Teri) Rushka, granddaughter, Mindy (Paul) Perry, grandson, Brent Edwards, great-granddaughters, Taylor James and Billie Ann Perry. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School and Victor's Comptometer School. She retired from CSX Railroad after many years of service. For many years she enjoyed playing tennis, and was an avid bridge player. She loved her bridge games with her friends at The Woodlands. She will be loved and missed by many. Klingel-Carpenter is handling the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at The Woodlands Hampton Room. A special thank you is extended to all the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary's ICU and on the 4th Floor. In the lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
