Jean Ellen Conner
(June 13, 1929 - October 4, 2016)

Jean Ellen Conner, 87, of Huntington, WV. died October 4, 2016 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born June 13, 1929 in Sharples, WV, a daughter of the late Joe C. and Oma Doss Duffey. She was a press operator at Armstrong Products and she was proud to say she worked 23 years and a week until the plant closed. In her spare time, she loved shopping and collecting antiques. She was preceded in death by six brothers Grayson, Grady, Esmond, Joe, Edmond and her twin James Duffey and was devoted to her two sisters Grace Christian and Virginia Jarrell until their passing. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Allen and Barb Conner of Huntington, WV and Jeffrey Bruce and Barbara Conner of Proctorville, Oh. Seven grandchildren , Kristen Hamlin, Alysia Conner, Jeff Conner, Valerie Hofmann, Julie Morgan, Jason Conner and Sarah Brewster, five great grandchildren Kate, Aubrey and Brady Hofmann and Anistyn and Brady Conner. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Rome Cemetery Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time.
