James Cohen
(August 31, 1919 - July 18, 2014)

James Cohen, 94, of Chesapeake, Oh, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born in Huntington, WV, son of the late Joe Harry and Sarah Cohen. James is also preceded in death by his Brother Sol Cohen. He is survived by his wife Lilly “Peggy” Mae Cohen; two sisters, Edythe Sonz and Sylvia Sapinsley and his brother David Cohen. James was a member of B’nai Shalom B’nai Brith, the Elks and VFW. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years during WWII. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, July 21 at Spring Hill Cemetery, B’nai Isreal Section with Rabbi David Wucher officiating.
