Justine McDanald

Justine Watts McDanald, 96, widow of George Robert McDanald, died February 28, 2014. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, Huntington, WV by Rev. Skip Seibel and Rev. Dr. John C. Minihan. Born September 7, 1917 in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Hazel Watts. She retired from C.F. Reuschlein Jewelers in 1972. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Huntington Museum of Art, Inwood Garden Club, and the Huntington Womans Club. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Eloise Wells and Jean Webb, both of Florida, and her brother, L. Wesley Watts of Huntington. She is survived by a son, Stephen McDanald of Proctorville, OH, and a daughter Debra J. McDanald and her husband William Curry of Huntington; grandson Dr. Matthew McDanald and his wife Stacey of Louisville, KY and grandson Paul McDanald of Huntington, and their mother Sharyn McDanald of Huntington, WV; her grand-daughter Alison C. Smith of Huntington, WV; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Jackson McDanald and a step-great grandson, Alec Kusman, all of Louisville, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Presbyterian Church. The family will greet friends one hour before the service in the Friendship Hall at the church.
