Betty Jane Belcher
(March 9, 1931 - April 30, 2014)

Betty Jane Belcher, 83, of Huntington, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born March 9, 1931 in Chester County, PA, a daughter of the late Cary Carlton and Maggie Marie Hurley Ashley. She retired as executive assistant from the former Anderson Newcomb's Dept. Store and was a Lifetime Member of the DAR Westmoreland Chapter. She is survived by her husband, Robert. H. Belcher; a daughter, Carol J. Casto of Proctorville; two grandchildren, Timothy S. Casto of Cincinnati, Ohio and Gregory A. Casto of New York, NY; two great grandchildren, Robert W. Casto and Madison G. Casto; two sisters, Glenna A. Christie and Lois A. Onks, and a special family friend, Charles Palmer. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park, Princeton, W.Va. by the WV State DAR Chaplin. Interment will follow. Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
