Caroline Groves

Caroline Groves, 93 of Huntington, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Madison Park. Visitation will be held at Klingel-Carpenter Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6:00-8:00. Graveside service will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, November 14 at Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born September 17, 1920 in New Castle, New Hampshire to Warner Edrick Jones and Mary Hite. She was preceded in death by one son, Frank B. Groves III and husband Frank B. Groves Jr. She was as graduate of West Virginia University, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and a long time member of Guyan Country Club as well as the Big Green Club. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Mary Anna and Bill Perdue of Huntington, son and daughter-in-law William and Sandra Groves of Plantation, FL; and two grandchildren, Todd and Jason Perdue of Huntington. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Many thanks to the assisted living staff at Madison Park.
