Gary William Olson
(September 27, 1939 - May 26, 2013)

Gary William Olson, 73, of Huntington went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife Shirley Olson, two daughters, Tami Slayton and Carolyn Brooks (Greg); two sons, Thomas Wilson (Carissa), and Rodney Wilson (Jasmine); a sister, Amy Kay Crumm (Keagy), a niece Kelley Gemmill (Galen), Fifteen grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Slaton, Sydney, Kristen, Charles and Cera Wilson, Greg, Justin, Jason, Holly and Cassidy Brooks, Daniel Wilson, Kirsten, Breauna and Cassiti Scruggs and several great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two beloved pets, Trixie and Little Boy. Gary was a faithful attendee of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. Gary served his country during the Koreon War in the National Guard. He retired from Chandler's. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by Pastor Tim Yates. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until service time on Wednesday. A burial will be held at Clearfield Crown Crest Cemetery in Gary's birthplace, Clearfield, PA. A special thanks go out to Gary's Lewis Memorial Baptist Church family and Dr. Beam and the entire staff at St. Mary's 3rd Floor Pulmonary Unit.
