Yvonne Majdalani
(December 25, 1928 - January 19, 2013)

Yvonne Majdalani, 85, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away peacefully on January 19 at home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Tony, her daughter Nouhad, and son-in-law Dr. Joseph Hanna of Huntington, W.Va. She is survived by her daughters Nazek and Helen, her son Elias and his wife Aida of Huntington, W.Va., her son Gibran and his wife Gosia of Briarcliff, NY, her grand-children Marie, Yvonna, and Tony of Huntington, W.Va., David of Cleveland, OH, Bill of Columbus, OH, Afif Hanna and his wife Samantha of Philadelphia, PA, William Hanna of Cincinnati, OH, and her great grand-child Elaina Blickenstaff of Huntington, W.Va.. Mrs. Majdalani was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother; for years, she was an active member of the International Club, the Senior Center of Barboursville, and helped with her daughters' volunteering at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be held in private. Condolences will be accepted on Monday January 21, 2013 at the Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary in Huntington, W.Va., from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Huntington, to the Cabell Huntington Hospital Auxillary, or to the Dahesh Museum of Art of New York (145 Avenue of the Americas #1C, New York, NY 10013). The family would like to extend special thanks to the Hospice of Huntington for the excellent care and support they provided.
