Mr. Jamie M. Meadows
(August 20, 1957 - May 6, 2011)

James M. Meadows, 53, of Huntington, left his earthly home Friday, May 6, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 by Dr. Khader at the Muslim Association of WV, 944 20th. St. Huntington. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jamie was born August 20, 1957 in Huntington, beloved son of Beverly Agnew Meadows and the late William Meadows. He was a graduate of Huntington High School and was a Golden Gloves Champion. He was a former employee of Bedford Ford. He leaves to mourn a daughter, Summer and a son, Devin, whom he cherished. Also surviving are his siblings, Michael Thomas, Harriett King, W. Tim Meadows, Kathy Meadows, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Stevenson. Rich in spirit and with his heart overflowing with compassion, Jamie fed the hungry on the streets of Huntington without fanfare.
