Alma Marie Adams
(January 18, 1925 - January 18, 2011)

Alma Marie Adams, 85, formerly of Huntington, went to be with Jesus on January 18, 2011. She was born January 29, 1925 in Roundhead, OH, daughter of the late Herbert and Bernice Staley Brentlinger. Alma lived the last year of her life in Washington state. She was a WAC, who served in WWII in the South Pacific as a PBX Operator. She was employed by Stone and Thomas in Huntington. She is survived by her 8children: Stephanie Kinnard, Deborah Williams, Ronald Williams, Patricia Murray, Michael Williams, Tell Adams, Hollis Nicholes and Todd Adams; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Alma was a loving woman, who was a “stick to her word” kind of mother/grandma that anyone could hope to have. She taught her family how to truly love and be patient through life's trials. Her legacy lives in each of her children. She will be missed greatly by her family and all who loved her! A memorial service will be held at a later date.
