Nancy Bellomy Christian, 82, of Huntington, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1928 in Fort Gay, a daughter of the late Anthony and Lona Wellman Bellomy. She retired from Anderson Newcomb Department Store and attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Alvis Christian Jr. She is survived by a son and daughter, Michael (Judy) Christian and Vickii (Bill) Hughes all of Huntington; three grandchildren, Tony (Melissa) Christian, Christina Workman and Tyler Christian all of Huntington and four great grandchildren, Ali, Joshua and Annie Workman and Luke Christian. Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion by Dr. David Lemming. Interment will follow. Friends may call Sunday, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary where the procession will leave at 3:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
