Carlos Thomas Bailey
February 16, 1934 - January 21, 2010

Carlos Thomas Bailey, 75, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Carlos was born on February 16, 1934 in Huntington; son of the late Frank and Justine White Bailey. He graduated from Sanford Preparatory School in Hockessin, DE in 1952 then attended and graduated from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA in 1956. Carlos served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1962 where he was a pilot of A4s. Carlos retired from Special Metals in 1996. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Nabors Bailey; two sons Tom Bailey and wife Sarah of Selinsgrove, PA and Richard Bailey of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren Sam, Isabel and William all of Selinsgrove, PA; a sister, Justine Lynch of San Francisco, CA; a brother Frank R. Bailey of Des Moines, IA and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
