Obituary
Sheila Faye McComas Carter, 60 of
Huntington, WV passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical
Center. She was born May 12, 1962 in Huntington, WV; daughter of Edgar Ray
McComas and Wanda Faye Burgess McComas. In addition to her father, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Carter. In addition to her mother
Wanda, Sheila is survived by her children, Heather Nicole Davis of
Huntington, WV, Haley Dale Carter of Logan, WV, Tyler Leigh Carter of
Missouri; brothers, Edgar Roy McComas Jr of Huntington, WV, Malaki McComas
of Huntington, WV; sister, Tracy K. Brown of Florida; grandchildren, King,
Haden and Jaclen; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be
conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Harmony United Methodist
Church, 3800 Riverside Dr. Huntington, WV 25705 with Pastor Phil Wilson
officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens,
Barboursville, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service
time on Friday at the church. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge
Road, Huntington, WV 25705 is caring for the family.
