Obituary
Lillian
“Nanny” Dolen, 92 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Sunday,
January 31, 2016. She was born May 22, 1923 in Paris France the daughter of
the late, Leonard and Marceline Quatresous Paravy. She was a member of Our
Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, was a homemaker and also worked at Designs
by D.J. Florist. She is survived by her husband, John Dolen of Huntington,
W.Va; two daughters, Betty (Lou) Burger and Donna (J.T.) Mayo all of
Huntington, W.Va; three grandchildren, Patti (Harvey) Messenger, John L.
Burgur and Justin (Kara) Mayo; six, great-grandchildren, Scott Hamlin,
Elizabeth and Emily Burgur, Mikayla, Brock and Jax Mayo; one
great-great-grandchild, Porter Lee Hamlin and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to also say thank you to three special ladies. Funeral
services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at
Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. Burial will follow in
Springhill Cemetery, Huntington, W.Va. The family will receive friends from
11:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
