Obituary

SARAH PRINCE, My Mother, Sarah Prince, 82 of Ona, is swinging in the Garden of Life with her heavenly family today, leaving prayerfully from St. Mary, Medical Center, on December 6, 2008. She was born March 4, 1926. She fought the fight, won the battle, sweetly and lovingly to everyone around her. She was preceded by her parents Tom and Rose Fitzpatrick Blevins; her husband, Carl Prince; sisters, Ruby Bailey and Madge Hudgins, brother, Howard Blevins and a grandson Jerry. She is survived by her only child Betty Jo Cam, and son-in-law, Harold of Huntington; one brother-in-law and brother-in-Christ, James Prince of Ona; her sister, Janet Bailey; her brother, Jack Blevins; five grandchildren, Lisa Angela, April, Dale and Paul Jr,; five great grandchildren, of whom she was most proud, Paige, Amber, Jacob, Paul and Caleb. She loved her extended family on the third floor of Heritage Nursing Center. A thanks to each one of you, especially Sherman and Terry. Her niece Sandra Breedlove for so many hours of love and faithful attention. Muffin, we love you dearly, our hearts are broken, but we must obey our heavenly father and at last you are at peace. See you soon, your daughter, Betty Jo. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM., Monday, December 8, 2008 at HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE, with Pastor Doug Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5- to 8 PM Sunday, December 7, 2008 and one hour prior to service on Monday at the funeral home.
