Lewis Freeman Swann
(December 31, 1927 - February 5, 2019)

Lewis Freeman Swann, 91, of Milton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  He was born December 31, 1927 in Milton, a son of the late Clifford and Bessie Davis Swann.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Rozella Swann and brother, Clifford Swann.  Mr. Swann was a 53-year member of the Barber Shop Harmony Society, and a member of Milton United Methodist Church and the Milton Lions Club.  Lewis is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ron Hay of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Marci Swann of Milton and Phillip and Amanda Swann of Van Nuys, CA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Pat Swann of Santa Maria, CA and Joe and Phyllis Swann of Hurricane; six grandchildren, Scott Swann, Chris Swann, Jeff Swann, Josh Swann, Brian Hay and Julie Cundiff; and ten great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with funeral services following at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jim Walther.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
