Garnet Danford
(January 15, 1918 - March 8, 2018)

Garnet Morrison Danford, 100, of Milton passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Village at Riverview.  She was born January 13, 1918 in Milton, a daughter of the late Everett and Carrie Hobbs Morrison.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Danford; brother, Grant Morrison; and four sisters, Alberta Roberts, Gladys Burgess, Georgia Mae Johnson and Lillian Carson.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Connie Danford of Glenwood and Charles and Katherine Danford of Hurricane; four grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Lori Danford, John and Gwen Danford, Brianne and Frank Holcomb and Charles and Lynese Danford; and seven great grandchildren, Devin, Bryce, Kaeli, Jacob, Jordan, Charli and J.D.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with Pastor Tom Hastie officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery chapel.  Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the Village at Riverview for their care.
