Alta Faye Conner (Wise) Hite
(April 14, 1928 ~ September 10, 2017)

Alta Faye Wise Conner Hite, 89, of Milton WV went to be with the lord on Sunday September 10, after a long illness.  She is survived by a daughter, MaryAnn Daniels of Milton, and a son, Charles Michael Conner (Joyce) also of Milton; five grandchildren, James Gary Daniels Jr, Jody Lynn Allen, Jessica Ann Slate (Kyle) Kristy Ann Ramos (Ed) Jason Michael Conner (Bonnie); 11 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.  Faye was a lifelong member of Zoar Baptist Church.  She was a great mother and grandmother who was willing to do anything for anyone she could help, and will be very missed.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Kelleth Samson Conner; second husband, Arden Samuel Hite; a son, Terry Lee Conner; two sisters, Dorothy Perry and Marie Foster; and a brother, Donavan Wise. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial to follow at Forest Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Cabell Health Care Center for their kindness and care of her during her final days.
