Ada Regina Price
61, of Huntington, WV passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Toney Henry Johnson (2009). We are all at peace knowing he was waiting with open arms for his Mom in Heaven. Also preceded in death by her mother: Bernice Delaney and her father: Melvin Ruth.
Ms. Ada lived for and loved her children fiercely, all 6 of them! She was a cook for Golden Corral for over 10 years until her kidney issues arose. She went to her dialysis 3x a week and hated “going to work” as she used to say! Ada attended and was a member of Walnut Hills Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her only daughter: Tamica (Tyrone) Nelson of Huntington, WV, sons: Timothy TJ (Amy) Johnson Jr, Terrell (Amanda) Johnson, Jerone (Ashley) Johnson, and Jermaine Johnson all of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by her loving husband: Timothy Johnson of Xenia, OH. Ada has so many grandkids and great-grand kids, too many to list all by name.
Ada will be missed by her two sisters: Beatrice Renee Hairston and Pamela Delaney both of Charleston, WV. And her four brothers: Tulus Marshall (Phyllis) Hairston, Latelle Toney Delaney, Benjamin Delaney, and Phillip Delaney all of Charleston, WV.
A Home-Going service will be conducted 1:00PM, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV with Senior Pastor Fred McCarty of Walnut Hills Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Please wear masks due to Covid 19.
