Sarah Mae Jones
(September 15, 1937 - January 05, 2020)

Sarah Mae Jones, 82, of Huntington, WV went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  She was born on September 15, 1937 in Lynch, KY to her late parents, James Powell and Annie Anderson Powell Jackson.  She is preceded in death along with her parents; her husband, Jackson Jones, Jr.; two sisters, Gloria Reed and Nancy Jackson; one granddaughter, Alana Brooks; and two great-granddaughters, Sharmony & Sarianna Glenn-Jones.  Sarah was a retired Basting Puller from Corbin Ltd. after 29 years and was a faithful member of Full Gospel Assembly Church.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her children, Percy Jones, Debra Turner, Zanetta Jones-Johnson (Eric) and Jackson Jones III (Dorina).  Also, surviving are her siblings; Barbara Watts, Corla Rankin (Gregory), Leola Page, Earnestine Richmond (Paul), Lorenzo Powell (Dorothy), Jerry Jackson and Johnnie Jackson (Julia); 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon, January 17, 2020 at Full Gospel Assembly with Bishop Samuel R. Moore, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow the services at Spring Hill Cemetery.
