Luemma Gladys Braxton
(September 9, 1936 - October 9, 2019)

Luemma G. Braxton, 83, of South Point, OH went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.  She was born on September 9, 1936 in Baltimore, MD to her late parents, James Kyle and Bertie (Wolfe) Kyle.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert C. Braxton; and sister, Swanie Brewer.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her daughters, Marcella Harvey (Lewis), Charletta Ferrell (Brian), Christina Braxton (Clarence) and Monica Melendez (Javier); and sons, Gilbert Braxton (Donna) and Martin Cooper.  Also, surviving are her 11 grandchildren: LaTonya (Eric), Asala (Aaron), Asim, Kisha, Charles, Summer, Alia (Ryan), Javier, Marcella, Shayla and Adrienne; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, October 14, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist church with Rev.  Shawn Woods, officiating and Rev. Reginald Hill, eulogizing.  Family will welcome friends one-hour prior to services.  Burial will follow services at Burlington 37 Cemetery.
