Sonia Marie Waller
(March 11, 1952 - April 6, 2019)

On April 6, 2019 Sonia Marie Waller, 67, transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home.  She is now completely restored, for her new beginnings with the LORD. She always said, she has her ticket to get on board.  Sonia was born March 11, 1952 in Williamson, WV and was one of five children born to Stanley and Berniece Waller, she was a devoted sister, aunt and friend.  Her parents, two nieces April D. Waller and Brianna M. McCoy, preceded her in death.  Sonia graduated from Williamson High School and later pursued a degree in computers. She then served her country in the Army.  Sonia lived in St. Louis, MO and worked for White Castle Restaurant where she was a manager until 2002, after which she relocated to Huntington, WV to be close to family.  She loved the Lord and one of her favorite songs was, when you see me coming, I got Jesus on my mind.  She was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist, till her health failed and she could no longer attend.  She loved life, family, friends and dogs.  She leaves to mourn her death and cherish her memory; brothers, James S. Waller (Martina) Frederick, MD, Rodger I. Waller, Huntington, WV; sisters, Anna L. Waller (Joe Chapman) Frederick, MD and Mary Morton, Huntington WV.  Also, surviving is her special nephews, Nigel I. Waller (Devona) Charleston, WV, Sheridan J. Waller, Huntington, WV; great nephew, Skyler Waller and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist with Pastor Reginald Hill, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will be Wednesday, April, 17th at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Williamson, WV.
