Wesley Floyd Saxton
(November 27, 1926 - February 28, 2012)

Wesley Floyd Saxton, 85 of Huntington passed away February 28, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1926 in Huntington, a son of the late Jethro Saxton and Rachel Rebecca Young. Wesley was a member of the First Wesleyan Church, and Owner and Operator of the 20th Street Service Center. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lucille and Juanita, and one brother, Carl. Wesley is survived by his loving wife, Mary L. Saxton, one daughter, Sharon Gayle Harris of Huntington, three sons; Steven D. Saxton (Deborah) of Huntington, Scott T. Saxton (Teresa) of Huntington and Benjamin D. Hurt (Patricia) of Ashland, KY, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday March 2, 2012 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington with Full Military Honors by American Legion Post 16. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. The care and services are under the direction Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
