Stella Louise Gibson
(September 2, 1942 - November 1, 2010)

Stella Louise Gibson, 68, of South Point, OH, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at her residence. Funeral Service will held be 1 pm Friday, November 5, 2010 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Pastor Paul Burcham officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Stella was born September 2, 1942 in Huntington a daughter of the late John Dee and Helen Brown Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Eddie E. Curry; three brothers, Richard Walker, Paul Walker and Larry L. Walker (infant). She is survived by her loving husband, Roger L. Gibson; seven children, Gary Lee (Tricia Darlene) Curry Jr. of Huntington, WV, Richard L, Curry of South Point, OH, Margie Ann Scarberry of Ironton, OH, Anna M (Jerry) Dray of Proctorville, OH, Bill McKinley Mattox of South Point, OH, Andrew R. Curry of South Point, OH; three brothers, Bobby Walker, Roger Walker and Johnny Walker; two sisters, Linda Runyon and Mary Blevins; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the funeral home.
