Nelvin Wiley

Nelvin Wiley 68 of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord on Friday July 6, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Fred Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. He was born June 19, 1950 in West Hamlin, WV, the son of the late Millard and Laura Moore Wiley. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Fowler. He was a mechanic and part owner of Wiley’s Garage. He was an active member, Sunday School Superintendent and Trustee for First Altizer Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 41 years, Patricia Langham Wiley; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and James Lowe of Huntington; two brothers, Millard Wiley, Jr. of Huntington and Roger and Anita Wiley of Catlettsburg, KY; a special friend since childhood, Bill Chapman and several nieces and nephews.
