    Larry Emil Egnor

    Larry Emil Egnor, 75, of 
    Proctorville, OH and Bradenton, FL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 
    February 8, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. Born on May 19, 
    1941 in Huntington, he was a son of the late Emil Egnor and Lehoma Holderby 
    Egnor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant 
    brother, Gary Egnor. Larry was a 1959 graduate of Huntington East High 
    School and served in the Army Reserve. He was a member of the First Baptist 
    Church of Proctorville and retired in 1993 as a foreman from Special Metals 
    in Huntington. Larry was integral to the daily operations and past president 
    of the Lake Forest Association of Willow Wood, OH.  He managed several 
    rental properties in Huntington with his wife, Elizabeth, throughout the 
    years. For a period of time, he also worked as a barber with his dad and 
    uncle at Egnor’s Barber Shop in downtown Huntington. Above all, Larry 
    enjoyed watching the sunset every evening at his home in Bradenton, FL, and 
    spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 
    years, Elizabeth Myers Egnor of Proctorville, OH; his daughters, Kendra 
    Egnor of Hurricane, WV, and Kerri (Kevin) Blankenship of Proctorville, OH; 
    brother, Dan (Nan) Egnor of St. Albans, WV; granddaughters, Katelyn 
    Blankenship of Proctorville, OH, Kasey (Johnathon Easthom) also of 
    Proctorville and numerous family members and friends. Visitation will be 
    held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of 
    Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. at Beard Mortuary in Huntington, with Dan 
    Egnor, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in 
    Huntington.
