Obituary
KATHLEEN LORETTA EDWARDS,
71, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at St. Mary’s
Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1944 in Boston, MA, a daughter of
the late William Edward Sr. and Dorothy Kathleen (Cogswell) Terrell. She is
survived by daughters, Dorothy Edwards and Elizabeth (Michael) Mayes, all of
Huntington; siblings, William E. (Carolyn) Terrell of South Point, OH and
Elizabeth Graybeal of Huntington; grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth,
Isabella, Winifred, Sophia and Theodora Mayes; several nieces and nephews;
and special friends, Lori Bartley and Annie Jarvis. Kathleen was retired
from St. Mary’s after 33 years of dedicated service as a nurse and a member
of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family wishes to thank nurse Tabitha from
St. Mary’s Oncology and Sister Joanne of St. Mary’s and Vicki Hemplapp from
the St. Mary’s 6th floor oncology team.. A funeral Mass will be held on
Monday, May 18, 2015 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary’s Chapel at St. Mary’s Hospital
with Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30
AM until time of the service at the chapel. Beard Mortuary is assisting the
family.
